In this itinerary specially designed by the Trip Tailors team we are going to discover the best of Athens and the Peloponnese region of Greece.

Arcadia was idealized by Renaissance artists and considered a place where peace and bliss reigned alongside pastoral landscapes and beautiful nymphs, thus creating a micro-universe of perfect harmony. And it is true that Arcadia offers a unique experience, where you will feel close to nature exploring the different trails and rivers and you will meet the local people and customs, inherited by each generation.

Our adventure continues towards the walled city of Monemvasia, a hidden treasure behind a huge rock that protects it. A walk through the narrow alleys of the castle illuminated by lanterns of warm light will take us back to medieval times of knights and pirates. Then we will visit the picturesque town of Nafplio and the ancient theater of Epidaurus, famous for its excellent acoustics.

The trip ends in the Greek capital, Athens, where we will visit the emblematic Parthenon and take a walk through the city tasting typical products accompanied by a local expert.

During the tour we will:

  • Cross the Corinth Canal
  • Visit the Prodromou and Filosofou Monasteries
